This hat is knit from a cotton yarn to give the ruffled brim some substance and sass. If this hat was knit any larger, the ruffled would droop.

Pattern is written from the edge of the brim to the top of the hat. Simple shaping makes the ruffle. The hat was created to complement the Cute as a Button Sweater which is also recently released.

I loved knitting this hat in Tahiti’s cotton classic but am still looking for a good substitute when I run out of what I have!
