This sweater was designed to complement the Cute as a Button Hat. It is made in a 6 month size also, as the ruffle on the hat will droop if the hat is made any larger.

This sweater is knit in pieces, uses Knit Cast On to create the swing to the front of the sweater making it a swing shape, uses 3 needle bind off, pick up and knit the sleeves and finished off with ruffles along the fronts and back.

Other yarns can be used — i just feel that a cotton matches well with the eyelets and ruffles.
