Cute bee
- I used Kartopu Bebe Pofuduk (245m/100g) for body and head. You can use any fluffy or smooth yarn: mohair, wool, acrylic, velor, cotton, etc.
- For eyes — two beads for pupils approx. 8-10 mm in diameter and polimer clay (just a little bit) or ready-made eyes.
- For wings - approx. 30 cm of thin copper wire (I used 0.9 mm) and any white yarn you love: the Kid mohair (1000m/100g) in 2 threads or YarnArt Cotton Soft (600m/100gr) in 1 thread. The yarn for the wings should be approx. twice as thin as the main yarn (about 500 meters per 100 grams). The thicker the threads you use, the larger the wings you get. Wire for the framework with section 1 mm for legs and body (approx. 1,5-2 meters in total).
- A hook, matching to your yarn and convenient for you. I crocheted with Clover 1,5mm for body and 1 mm for wings
- Two disks (I used 30 mm), 2 metal washers and a T-pin for attaching the head (as you wish). To choose the correct size of the disks for attaching the head, crochet a circle-sample on 30 sc and measure its diameter - this will be the diameter of the disk that you need.
- Stuffing and a strong thread for the tightening.
- Velcro and metal animal brush for combing details.
- Dry pastel / oil paints / fabric markers and a flat brush for tinting.
- A good mood and a great wish to settle this funny bug at your home!
