MATERIALS NEEDED:
- This pattern will work with any weight of yarn or type of fiber but I recommend:
100% cotton for a baby - Fine Sport #2 = 4 ply OR Light Worsted #3 = DK

I USED:

  • Fine Sport #2 = 4 ply
  • 100% mercerised cotton (you can use any brand you like)
  • 1x ball of brown yarn - (50g/125m)
  • 1x ball of beige yarn - (50g/125m)
  • 1x ball of white yarn - (50g/125m)
  • A long piece of black yarn for eye embroidery
  • A long piece of white yarn for nose embroidery

OTHER MATERIALS USED:

  • polyester fibre fill
  • small plastic container and beads for making a rattle (or you can choose to purchase a rattle)
  • 2 wooden rings (untreated) - 5cm diameter
  • 4 wooden beads (untreated) – 20mm diameter
  • 3 wooden beads (untreated) - 12mm diameter

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

  • crochet hook: I used 2mm hook, if using different weight of yarn then refer to hook size recommendations on the yarn but go one size smaller
  • scissors, yarn needle, pins with large heads, stitch marker or thin yarn to use instead
