We don’t think we’ll ever tire of making our favourite foods into amigurumi form – something about adding those tiny eyes and a mouth turns them from simply tasty to mega-adorable. These colourful doughnuts would make fun toys too – we can see them being used as old-fashioned stacking rings. We’ve given suggestions for toppings,
but of course you can customise according to your favourite flavour.

MATERIALS
■ Drops Muskat yarn, 100% cotton, 50g/100m per ball, two balls in Beige (23) (Yarn A)
■ Stylecraft Classique Cotton, 100% cotton, 100g/184m per ball, one ball in Fondant (3094) (Yarn B), Ivory (3665) (Yarn C), Shell Pink (3666) (Yarn D)
■ Small amounts for topping: Sunflower (3662) (Yarn E), Tropical Jade (3676) (Yarn F), Sky Blue (3667) (Yarn G), Greek Blue (3095) (Yarn H), White (3660) (Yarn I)
■ Oddments of red yarn for mouth
■ 3.5mm (UK 9, US E/4) crochet hook
