This pattern was crocheted using DMC cotton thread. Finished size of this applique is 5.75” wide x 8.5” high. Size can be adjusted using different thread or yarn and a bigger needle. Gauge is not important for this project. I have not tested using this pattern with a worsted weight but I am sure it could be adjusted with hook size to be used on an afghan.
