If the stated yarnd and hook size are used the finished products will be approximately 11cm/4.33 inches and 10 cm /3.94 inches.
I am a Molecular Biology and Genetics PhD Candidate and I have been dreaming of creating my own designs of labware.
And here my dream came true and I created myself these cute Micropipettes and decided to share their pattern with you.
So if you are a scientist who loves lab stuff you can make them for yourself or gift it to the scientist in your life ;)
To make the two micropipettes:
The yarn, I used Alize Cotton Gold PLus/ Nako Denim (DK Light Worsted)
Colors: Black,Gray,Blue or Yellow. Alternate colors: White, Black and Blue
HOOK: 2.5 mm
STUFFING: Fiberfill, toy stuffıng
EYES: Two of 8mm safety eyes, or beeds
Tapestry needle
Black embrodiery thread
This patterns is for beginner to intermediate crocheters with basic crochet-work skills. Worked in spiral rounds. You need to know how to:
read a crochet pattern
-> chain
-> single crochet
-> stitch
-> decrease
-> increase
-> sc3tog-tbl: sc next 3 stitches together at a time, working through back loops only
-> basic embrodiery
This pattern includes:
-> definitions of stitch abbreviations
-> materials list, including recommended yarn
-> instructive photos
