Cute-N-Tiny Heart

My daughter was making hearts for Valentine’s Day, which also happens to be my wedding anniversary. I decided to improvise a tiny heart as well.

I like projects which are done when the last stitch is completed, so this is seamless.

Stitches used:
Knit
Purl
SSK - (Slip as if to knit)x2, put (L) needle back through the slipped stitches and knit through the back loops
K2tog - Knit two stitches together
CDD (centered double decrease) - Slip two stitches together as if to knit, knit the next stitch, pass the two slipped stitches over the knit stitch
DLLI (double loop lifted increase) Knit through the (L) side of the stitch below the one just completed also known as LLI or left loop increase, then knit through the (R) side of the stitch below the next stitch also known as RLI or right loop increase. You will have increased twice into one between-stitch space.
Short rows using only single wraps
