This cute little poppy is to be made into a brooch but how about attaching lots of them to a wire wreath ring to make a decorative hanger or make a string of them as bunting too.

This pattern is suitable for a beginner with basic crochet knowledge. It is written in UK terms in full text format with photographs and is easy to follow. The pattern is in pdf format.

The flower and leaf are both made seperately in the round and the leaf is sewn to the back of the flower. Gauge is not applicable.

The pattern is written using YarnArt Baby Cotton yarn. It is beautiful to use and makes a flower 4cm tall by 3.5cm wide.

Any yarn could be used of your choice but it will affect the size of your finished poppy. You will need small amounts of red, green and black and the appropriate sized crochet hook for your yarn (plus brooch backs if using).
