Cuterus Tapestry
This pattern will walk you through creating your very own Cuterus Tapestry!
The finished size is approximately 18 cm by 18 cm (7 “ by 7”).
Yarn Needed:
White (W)
Pink (P)
Pink Lemonade (PL)
Navy (N)
Suggested Brands: 24/7 Cotton, or any similar Medium weight (Cotton is best for dishcloths if that’s the intended use)
Other Tools:
3.5 mm hook
Darning needle
Stitch marker
Terms:
magic circle
CH: chain
ST: stitch
SC: single crochet
INC: increase
DEC: decrease
FO: fasten off
This piece is worked from the top down, using single crochet stitches only.
All rows will have a total of 35 stitches.
Each row will end with a CH 1, this does not count as a stitch.
You can use the written instructions, or the graph.
Colors will be listed using the abbreviations above (in brackets).
All color changes will be completed with the new color.
For short distances (5-6 stitches or less) carry the unused yarn. For longer distances cut the yarn and hide the tails later. (This is optional, you can carry or cut the yarn as you please!)
When carrying a color be sure to give it a gentle tug before switching back to using it to keep a clean looking stitch and prevent the 2nd color from showing through.
