Cuttyhunk (named for a small island off the coast of Massachusetts) features a comfortable, warm shawl-collar. The easy rhythm of all-over cables paired with the #8 Single Point needles make Cuttyhunk fun to knit and relatively easy to knit for the intermediate needle worker. The shawl collar is worked by knitting back and forth on Circular #7 needles. Although photographed in a smooth-spun raw wool, this rugged pullover is versatile. It can be knit in a variety of yarns - a season-spanner worked in cotton or cotton/wool blends, or a cozy pullover for the cold months in textured or tweedy wools and fiber blends.
