The appearance of cyclamen in plant shops is a sure sign that we’re in for cooler weather. These delightful little flowers, a staple in autumn and winter gardens, come in a range of colours from purest white to holiday red, with all the pinks and purples in between.

Cyclamen Mitts is a design inspired by the flowers themselves, standing in groups on straight little stalks.

  • Textured flowers are repeated along elegant twisted rib stems.
  • Stitch motifs are easy to work and give beautiful results.
  • A perfect fit thanks to the super stretchy twisted rib, which wraps right around the palms.

The smallest size of my Cyclamen Mitts uses just 1/3 of a skein of fingering weight yarn…maybe you have some left over from another project? Fingerless mitts are so much quicker to knit than a pair of socks, and they really do make the perfect handmade gift.

The pattern includes both charts and written instructions.
