Sample 1 (Pink version)
Lydia’s height is 173cm / 5’8” with a chest (fullest point)
circumference of 94cm / 37” and is shown wearing a size 3.
Oysters and Purls Alpaca/ Corriedale DK (DK-weight; 50%

Shade: October; 6 (6, 7, 8, 8, 9, 10, 11, 11, 13) skeins
Sample Notes: This sample features a short neckband
with short row shaping at the neck. The neckband, cuffs
and the split hem are all worked in 1x1 Rib instead of
the 2x2 Rib detailed in the pattern. This sample uses a
DK-weight yarn instead of the worsted-weight detailed in
the pattern. This creates a looser fabric with more drape.

yarn A for the yoke, cuffs and hem and yarn B for the
body and sleeves. This sample features a split hem and a folded neck.
Note: This sample has a longer body than is written in
the pattern, so to replicate this you should work until
the body measures 35cm / 13¾“ from underarm before
changing to yarn A to work the split hem. Please note
the yardage requirements for the long version and the
cropped version above.

Gauge: 20 sts & 32 rows = 10cm / 4” over Garter stitch
worked in the round on 4.5mm needles after blocking.

Needles: 4mm / US 6 circular needle, 60-100cm / 24”-40”
length depending on size worked AND 40cm / 16” length
AND needles suitable for working small circumferences
in the round
4.5mm / US 7 circular needle, 60-100cm / 24”-40” length
depending on size worked AND 40cm / 16” length
AND needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.

Notions: 8 stitch markers (including one unique for beginning
of round), scrap yarn or stitch holders, tapestry needle

Notes: Cyren is worked top down in the round with raglan
increases and optional short rows at the neck. The raglan increases are worked on either side of a central cable. At the underarm, sleeve stitches are put on hold and the body is worked in one piece. This pattern provides instructions for two hem options, a straight hem or a split hem. The sleeve stitches are picked up and sleeves are worked down in the round. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline and either a short neckband, a high neckband or a folded neckband is completed.
Note: The shorter neckband sits better when the optional
short rows have been worked during the yoke shaping.
This pattern has a 2-st Stocking stitch faux-seam running
down each side of the body and underneath each sleeve.

This pattern is a template for a single-colour pullover and
does not include instructions for colour-blocking. Please
consider the ‘sample notes’ for each example if you are
planning to replicate one.
