ENGLISH:

My dear fellow crocheter!

may i introduce, right for in time for Easter: a beautiful and cute Daffodil in Flower Pot!

After the big success of my Peony in Flower Pot and my Sunflower in Flower Pot, i have now added a third flower to the family!

A great Easter decoration or gift for Mother’s Day.

Welcome spring into your home with this gorgeously glowing Daffodil!

Another thing that’s great about this pattern: there is barely any sewing needed!

I don’t know about you - but that’s something that’s very important to me. Hence i try to design all my patterns with minimal sewing.

The height of the finished Daffodil in Flower Pot is approx. 21 cm.
The pattern is mostly worked in continuous spiral rounds (without closing off the round with a slst), except when stated different. Chains don’t count as a stitch. There is almost no sewing needed. All the parts of the flower are crocheted in one piece, except for the leafs and butterfly, they are sewn on at the end. The soil and flower pot are crocheted separately.
Feel free to use the yarn and matching crochet hook of your choice to make the Daffodil in Flower Pot. The result will be bigger or smaller keeping the same proportions.
You can find videos about how to close the last round, how to make an invisible decrease and how to do a color change in my blog-post about this pattern. Links to the products you need for this project are also in my blog:

DEUTSCH:
