A basic knowledge of stitches is advised but instructions for special stitches are included.

You can easily substitute the yarn in the pattern for another. If changing ply simply adjust your hook size accordingly. This will however affect the finished size.

Materials:

2g of Gold for trumpet
7g of Yellow for petals
or 8g of a solid colour for the trumpet and petals if making all in 1 colour.
I used Hobbi Rainbow 8/4 Cotton 56g / 170 Mtrs / 186 Yds
3.5mm Crochet hook
Stitch marker
Sewing needle for weaving in ends
Small brooch pin or headband
Spray starch or watered down PVA glue solution.
Blocking pins

Inc = Increase, work 2 sts in same stitch
Dec = Decrease, work 1 stitch over the next 2 sts.
Sc3tog = Single crochet 3 sts together to decrease 2 sts at the same time.
FLO = Front Loop Only
BLO = Back Loop Only
