An easy pattern, the “Dağlar” socks, are inspired in by the magnificient mountains of Turkey.
The yarn I used comes from the Carranzana sheep & is the result of a project (MuturBeltz) that contributes to maintain the shepherds of the Karrantza Valley, helps to save the breed from extinction, protects the landscape & promotes local businesses.
It is an ideal yarn to knit warm & impermeable accessories.
The socks are knitted toe-up, so you can easily adapt the lenght of the foot and leg. It includes heel flap with German Short Rows turn of the heel.
