“Dahlia” is a circle-shaped doily which can be turned into a rug by taking larger hooks and heavy yarn weights.
The pattern is written in English in US standard terms. You will find written instructions for each round + links to helpful VIDEOS (the voice is speaking in Russian, but the instructions are clear without any sound at all and completed with using thick cord and large hook, so it will be easy to watch).
If you use thick yarns, as I did for the video-instructions, you will get a circle rug.
This pattern is not sensitive to gauge.
Yarn - 574 yds in 3.5 oz (524 m in 100 g) cotton thread/light fingering – about 1600-1700 yds.
Hook: 1.5mm US 8 steel hook
finished measurement – 34” in diameter if you use recommended yarn weight and hook.
