Finished Size & Gauge

The finished measurements are the approximate dimensions of the garment when laid flat naturally. They may vary depending on how the garment is measured and individual crochet tension.

Gauge (10 × 10 cm)

  • Crochet hook #4: 30 stitches × 20 rows (1 cm = 3 stitches × 2 rows)
  • Crochet hook #3: 32 stitches × 21 rows

→ When making size 55 with a size #3 crochet hook, the finished width is approximately 44 cm (recommended for a size 44).

Checking Your Gauge

After making a 15 × 15 cm swatch, be sure to check your gauge.

Measure a 10 cm section of your swatch and count the number of stitches and rows.

Based on the stitches per 1 cm used in this pattern, you can estimate the finished width of the garment.

We recommend measuring the width of a T-shirt or top you normally like to wear and choosing the size with a finished width that is closest to your preferred fit.
