Daily Gelato is an essential part of summer, whether you’re at home or on the road! Now you can have your ice cream and wear it, too.

Yarn: Any fingering weight yarn that you get gauge with will work for this top. And making each row of ice cream different flavors is a great way to use minis or leftovers! No matter what colors you choose this tank is sure to keep you feeling cool and looking great all summer long.

Construction: The Daily Gelato Tank is cast on at the bottom and is worked in the round to the underarm. At that point the front and back are split and worked separately and flat.

Finished bust measurement: 31 (34, 37, 40)(44.5, 47.5, 51)(54, 57, 60) 63” / 77.5 (85, 92.5, 100)(111, 119, 127.5)(135, 142.5, 150) 157.5 cm at the bust.
Choose a size with 0-4” / 0-10cm of negative ease.

Yarn: Knit Picks Comfy Fingering, or other fingering weight yarn. MC approx. 400 (475, 550, 625)(700, 775, 850)(925, 1000, 1100) 1175 yards / 375 (435, 500, 575)(640, 710, 780)(850, 920, 1010) 1075 meters. CC1 and CC2, approx 44 (44, 53, 62)(70, 80, 88)(97, 106, 115)123 yards/ 10 (10, 12, 14)(16, 18, 20)(24, 26, 28) 30g each.

Gauge: 26 stitches and 32 rows in 4”/10cm with larger needle in stockinette stitch and colorwork, both flat and in the round.

Needles: US #2 / 2.75mm and US #4 / 3.5mm circular— or sizes needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: 1 BOR marker, 4 additional markers, stitch holders, yarn needle.

Notes: In knitting this pattern it’s really important to 1. Choose a size with 0-4” of negative ease (the modeled pictures in this pattern show 1.5” of negative ease) and 2. Check your gauge very carefully. Many of my test knitters found that they needed 3 needle sizes for this pattern: one for the ribbing, one for the colorwork, and one for the stockinette.
