Brisk walks over snow covered hills. Ice skating over frozen lakes and ponds. This hat will keep you warm through it all, and with incredible stretch it is a wonderfully versatile cap.

Yarn: Worsted weight, approximately 200 yards will make one hat.

Needles: Size 8 dpns and small length circ

Notions: Buttons, 3-4 optional, These are for decoration purposes only. Crochet hook or tapestry needle for weaving in ends. Small gauge crochet hook or large eye needle for stitching buttons. Needle and matching thread for stitching lace.

Gauge: 7 stitches = 2 inch in stockinette stitch
