Dainty Dandelion Overalls
This pattern is ADVANCED BEGINNER level and is made in the round. It involves stockinette stitch, garter stitch and dandelion stitch. This pattern involves minimal stitch counting and contains instructions on how to knit the dandelion stitch. Please be aware with the size changes that the number of dandelions change with size.
This pattern uses a dandelion stitch, which is a stitch which is built off a stockinette stitch and involves looping thread around your needle between stitches to produce a flower design. There are many videos online describing how to knit the dandelion stitch. However, the pattern does include instructions on how to perform this stitch.
Tension: Please complete a swatch (tension square) before undertaking this pattern, this is important as everyone knits slightly differently. Tension: 19 stitches x 24 rows = 10cm / 4” in stocking with 5mm needles.
Note: This pattern was tested in all its different sizes, and I have ensured that these instructions are completely accurate. But I cannot be responsible for variations in individual work, typographical errors, or if the specified ply of yarn recommended for this pattern has not been used. Completing a tension square ensures pattern accuracy.
