Shetland lace knitting is utilized in making of this shawl. It has a triangular shape and is knit top down. The shawl begins with the top border, the increases are made along the central stitch and along the garter stitch borders. The garter stitch border is formed by always knitting the first and the last three stitches. The patterning is done on both right and wrong side rows, all stitches, including yarn overs, are knit stitches.
