Daisy chain 2-in-1
The daisy chain 2-in-1 headband and bandana is a great beginner project as it uses simple stitches like chains and single crochets to create an adorable and wearable daisy chain motif in either a headband or bandana! This pattern will start with the construction of the daisy flowers which are chained together to make both the headband AND the first row of the bandana, before the creation of the leafy ties. It is important you follow the pages in numerical order even if you plan on making only the bandana as the construction of the first row of the bandana is the exact same as the rest of the headband. I recommend using cotton or cotton blend yarn for the best result after blocking your project to ensure the daisy petals lay flat. This pattern fits most adults and even some children but the size of both the headband and bandana can be adjusted depending on the amount of daisies you chain together for the first row!
Materials needed:
• Approximately 10- 30 grams of DK or worsted weight cotton or cotton blend yarn (I used Lily Sugar’n Cream)
• 4mm crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
