Inspired by Swan River Daisies – a native daisy found primarily in Western Australia, these socks feature a daisy motif around the ankle and the toe.

These socks are knitted from the top down. A ribbed cuff is worked first, followed by the first stranded colourwork motif on the leg, and a German Short Row heel. Stockinette is worked along the foot, followed by the second stranded colourwork motif, then toe decreases are worked and the toe is closed with kitchener stitch.

Pattern includes labelled close up photos to accompany written instructions, colourwork charts, and row by row written instructions.

Size guide

The Daisy Drift Socks are designed to have approx. 2.5cm (1 inch) of negative ease to fit snugly on the foot.

The sizes 1 (2) 3 are designed to fit a foot circumference of 19-21 (21.5-23.5) 24-26 cm or 7½-8¼ (8½-9¼) 9½-10¼ inches, measured around the widest part at the ball of the foot.

The finished sock circumference will measure 17.5 (20) 22.5 cm or 6¾ (8) 9 inches. Length of sock is easy to adjust based on foot length measurements, shoe size, or using a ‘try on as you go’ approach.
