DAISY LATTICE is a simple and fun overlay mosaic crochet pattern creating a seamless floral flower pattern. It’s great for blankets, cushions, place mats, table runners, scarves etc.

-- YARN REQUIREMENTS --

Based on Stylecraft Special DK in Turquoise, cream and yellow, . the 3 across by 4 down blanket with border, as shown in the main photo, took, approximately:

Colour A - Background: 1150 m
Colour B - Flowers: 900 m
Colour C - Flower centres: 50 m

As a guide, each 48-stitch/row repeat takes, approximately,
30 metres of background and petal colour plus 4 or 5 metres for the flower centres.

This does not include the envelope border or surface chain. Please allow extra for any borders or finishing.

-- SIZING --

Size of the final project will depend on the number of repeat, yarn, hook and tension. However, the 3 x 4 repeat blanket plus border measured, approximately, 84 cms x 112 cms (33 “ x 44”)

Each 48 st x 48 row repeat, was approximately, 25.5 cm x 25.5 cm (10” x 10”)

-- YOU WILL ALSO NEED --

  • A hook size recommended on the yarn band.
  • A hook smaller than that used for the body of the blanket or the border flaps and final join.
  • A hook larger than that used for the body of the blanket for the surface chain (optional).
  • Darning needle.
  • Scissors.
