This is a banded hat which works well in either a solid or variegated yarn. Although designed for someone with a head circumference of approximately 23” (59 cm) you can adjust the band to suit.

Materials Required

Yarn : 100g of double knit weight yarn. I have made this hat out of both double knit and aran weights with both working well.

Needles : Set of 5, 5.0 mm dpn’s (US size 8)
Or appropriate sizes to get gauge.

Alternatively you could use circular needles up to the decreases.
