Daisy is a triangular shawl worked flat back and forth on the bias from the small pointed end to the wide end. A modified daisy stitch provides delicate texture, and garter stitch edges create a tidy finish. Stripes, an occasional panel in Welted Leaf stitch, and a picot bind off add sweet flare. Knit in Purl Soho’s Linen Quill, a fingering weight linen / wool / alpaca blend, this shawl is the perfect piece for Spring and Fall transition seasons. Wear draped around your neck as a delicate accent, or wrapped about your shoulders to ward off a chilly evening breeze or over-zealous air conditioning!
