The Daisy Square is a quick, easy, no-sew little square featuring an 8-petal flower motif. It’s the perfect floral square to use as a component for your next big crochet project, like a blanket, sweater, or bag! You can also use a single square to make cup coasters and mug rugs, or opt for two squares to make the Petite Granny Square Bag, Granny Square Chicken, Granny Square Necklace, and other free patterns on the Sweet Softies blog!
This pattern can be used with a variety of different yarn color combinations. Since the yardage requirement is very low, it works well as a scrap yarn project! You can also use different yarn fibers and weights, and suitable hook sizes.

TIME
Approximately 10 minutes for an experienced crocheter

SIZE
Finished size is dependent on yarn weight and hook size used. See ‘Materials’ section for more information.

MATERIALS
Yarn in desired colors (cotton recommended for stitch definition)
Suitable size crochet hook for the yarn
Scissors
Example: For a small 1.5” square, use fingering weight 1 yarn and a 2.75mm crochet hook. For a larger 2.5” square, use medium weight 4 yarn and a 4mm crochet hook.
