Daisy String Bookmark
A charming and delicate crochet bookmark made of tiny daisy motifs strung together. Each flower features a yellow center with colorful petals, arranged along a crocheted string. Finished with a neat tassel at the end, this bookmark is both functional and decorative, perfect for adding a handmade touch to your favorite books.

This pattern uses US terminology
Skill Level: Beginner
Square brackets indicate the pattern and the number of times it is repeated e.g. sc 1, inc x 6 means single crochet one stitch, increase in the next stitch. Repeat 6 times.
Rounded brackets ( ) indicate the number of stitches you should have after each round/row.
The number of petals depends on how many single crochets you make in the magic ring.
(Example: 5 sc = 5 petals, 6 sc = 6 petals, etc.)
You can adjust the length of the bookmark by changing the number of flowers or chain length.
The bookmark is made by creating several daisy motifs, attaching them along a long chain, and finishing with a tasse
Materials:
Yarn – Fine yarn in same or two colors
Hook – 2.5mm
A 1mm hook for weaving in (optional)
Scissors
Stitch Marker (optional)
Yarn needle
Sewing Needle
Sewing Thread
Piece of Cardboard (2 inch wide).
You can use this pattern with any type of yarn with the recommended hook size. It is preferable to use a thinner yarn.
