These clogs could be made using jute rope or Medium yarn for the soles.
I love the rope soles especially for the summer season because jute is a natural, breathable, ecological and sustainable material. This kind of rope could be found in farmer stores or home improvement stores. It’s also used by florists, packages and groceries. Because this rope is sturdy the soles will have some rigidity and they’ll last longer than the yarn soles.
Any kind of Medium yarn is also suitable for these soles. Just check the gauge before starting the project.

SIZES: 36- 43 EU / 5.5 - 10.5 US (women)

SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE. Basic skills of crocheting are needed.

MATERIALS:
• Jute rope (1.5 mm diameter) or any kind of MEDIUM yarn – thickness 4 /Worsted, Afghan, Aran for the soles
• FINE/ Sport, Baby cotton yarn for the upper part
• Hook –5mm / H for the soles and 2.5 mm /C for the upper part.
• Yarn needle & Scissors
