Several people have contacted me regarding the MAGIC CIRCLE technique that is used to start the hat. If you’ve never used the magic circle this video will show you the basic technique.

To start Daisy’s Cloche make a Magic Circle, (like they do in the video, but INSTEAD of working a series of single crochets into the circle follow my instructions for round 1 and) work a beginning cluster, ch1 into the circle, then work (cluster, ch1) 7 more times into the circle. When you’re done you’ll have 8 clusters and 8 ch1 spaces. It looks like a puffy little flower.

As a new designer I’ve done my best to include all the necessary information accurately. Should you encounter any (other) problems, please let me know and I’ll do my best to correct them! Thanks!
