5.5 mm / US 9 circular needle with a cable length of at least 80 cm for working colorwork
5 mm / US 8 circular needle with a cable length of at least 80 cm for the body
4.5 mm / US 7 circular needle with a cable length of at least 80 cm for the ribbing (or needle size to obtain gauge)
GAUGE
10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 “) = 16 sts and 27 rnds worked in the
round in stockinette stitch and colorwork after blocking
There can be great differences in gauge between colorwork and single color sections. Please, swatch both in the round before knitting, and take note of the difference in gauge. At the end of the colorwork yoke, reduce the needle size by 0.5–1.5 mm to compensate for this difference, based on the result of your swatch.
