The unique construction of this pullover knit in Westfield will keep every knitter engaged! The sweater features a central garter ridge from the base of the neckline to the base of the bodice, a partially open front, a ribbed turtleneck, and set-in sleeves. The back is shaped with a deep inverted pleat in reverse stockinette, accentuating the body’s A-line shaping, fluid drape, and positive ease. Ribbed sleeves allow room for layering. Danakil is knit flat in one piece from the bottom up to the armholes and then divided for the front and the back. The sleeve stitches are picked up and worked down to the cuffs in the round. The turtleneck stitches are picked up and worked in the round in a k2, p2 rib.
