Dance is the one skein project of a lacy scarf with some texture of interest, like twisted stitch cabling with elongated nupps. This shawl can easily be transformed into the cowl. Lacy edge gives this project an additional elegant and romantic look.
One skein of your favourite fingering weight yarn is enough to create an unique, elegant and airy fabric shawl, which will adorn your summer outfit just like the jewellery.

Yarn:
One skein of The Tosh Merino Light from Madelinetosh {420 yards (384 meters)/ 1 skein}
The sample was made in colorway: Flashdance

Gauge:
22 sts 28 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking
The gauge is not crucial for this project, but big differences could affect the measurements of the finished garment and the yardage requirements.

Needles:
3.5 mm / US 4 circular needles (100 cm /40” long) or one set of single pointed needles in the same size.

Other notions
 Cable needle in size similar to 3.5 mm / US 4
 Crochet hook (only for cowl version of the project),
 Waste yarn in contrasting color (only for cowl version of the project)
 2 stitch markers
