Yarn: Chunky/Bulky Stylecraft Special Chunky – one ball of each
The original model uses color #1001 #1841 and #1823
Knitting needle: 5 & 5.50 mm (US 8 & 9)

SIZE:
Kids up to 6 years; (To make a tighter band for a small child use smaller needles eg 4.5mm (US 8) to work first 2.5mm (1 inch) ribbing

GAUGE:
18sts and 20 rows over 10x10 cm (4x4ins) in stockinette stitch using 5.5omm (No 9) needles
