Dancing Bugs Duplicate Stitch
The Dancing Bugs Duplicate Stitch is the perfect addition to any garment or project. I created this for my Noah Kahan concert in honor of his latest album, “The Great Divide.”
Perfect for lady bugs lovers too!
The standard chart is 37 sts by 26 rows. It can be added to any gauge project so long as your duplicate stitch yarn is the same weight as the base. If creating a repeating motif, the chart is 37 sts across, so be mindful of the multiple you’d need if working in the round.
The chart samples were done on a 4.5mm (US Size 7) swatch and project.
The project and duplicate stitch swatch both used Sandnes Garn Line. The project I added it to is the Camisole No. 10 by My Favorite Things Knitwear. This can be worked with any fiber!
Recommended Materials:
- darning needle
- scissors
- approx. 15.4 m (16.8 yds) of both red and black yarn; even less needed for white (will need more if repeating the motif)
