November 27, 2011 Errata: Page 3, below Dancing Leaves Repeat Row 15, should say: Repeat Rows 1–16 suggested times below. Start Dancing Leaves Border. (Delete: then work Rows 1–8.)

Lacy leaves dance around this shawl. Shaped as three quarters of a circle, it begins with a garter stitch neckband and ends with a scalloped border. This shawl stays on the shoulders and looks great on a variety of figure types, including the amply endowed. It also makes a wonderful cover-up for those in wheelchairs.

Since the border can be started at the end of any 16-row lace repeat, it is easy to customize the length. An option is included to add 1 or 3 beads to the scalloped edge. The lace can be knit in stockinette or garter stitch, and the shawl looks great in lace, fingering, Shetland/sport/DK, and worsted weight yarns.
