“Dancing through life, mindless and careless/ Make sure you’re where less trouble is rife/ Woes are fleeting, blows are glancing/ When you’re Dancing Through Life.”
- Fiyero Tigelaar, Wicked
When Fiyero makes his entrance at Shiz University, the whole student body is affected. These top-down socks make their own impact. Inspired by the jacket worn upon his arrival, a fitted navy blue number with gold embroidery, stranded colorwork emulates these geometric lines. Graphic motifs work their way down the leg to an eye-of-the-partridge heel and a pin-striped sole. While Fiyero may claim that ‘life’s more painless for the brainless,’ this show-stopping pair is not for the novice colorwork knitter!
