Dandelion is a light and breezy vest. The back has a bit of structure, knit with Creative Focus Linen in an interesting eyelet pattern. The fronts, knit with Habu Cottolin, are worked openly (on size 6 needle) to have a soft drape.
When choosing yarns, don’t be limited by yarns that match. Consider working fronts and back in contrasting colors or blending colors by running a strand of the lace weight yarn with the worsted weight yarn used for the back. A very light weight mohair is also an interesting option for the front and worked along with a coordinating yarn for the back.
Yardage estimates above are for the worsted weight yarn only. You will need between 475 and 625 yards of lace weight yarn.
