Danse Macabre Yoked Sweater
In medieval Europe the Danse Macabre or Dance of Death was a common allegory for the fragility of life and the vanity of earthly glory. While it is mostly found in painting and murals, there is some evidence that people also dressed as corpses at Allhallowtide (now Halloween).
So when I started thinking about a Halloween sweater, dancing skeletons seemed like the perfect theme
The Danse Macabre sweater is knitted top down, in the round, with a stranded yoke.
