Dara Tee is a casual tee with a round neck. It’s worked primarily in Stockinette stitch. Purled ribs at the lower body under each arm and at the center underside of each sleeve form faux seams. The eyecatchers are the lace pattern triangles which embellish each side of the lower body and the center of each sleeve, just before the bottom ribbing. The tee is worked top down in one piece, first in rows, and after completing the front neck shaping, completely in the round. Increases shape the neckline, shoulders, body, and sleeves until the armhole depth is reached. Once the upper body is finished, the sleeve stitches are put on hold and the lower body is worked down to the bottom. Stitches are picked up around the neckline and the ribbed neckband is worked in the round. Finally, the short sleeves are worked in the round.

Dara Tee ist ein lässiges T-Shirt mit einem Rundhalsausschnitt. Es ist hauptsächlich glatt rechts gestrickt. Linksrippen im unteren Bereich des T-Shirts unter den Armen und an der Unterseite beider Ärmel bilden „Fake-Nähte“. Der Blickfang sind die Lacemuster-Dreiecke, die unten beide Seiten des Rumpfes und die Mitte beider Ärmel, jeweils kurz vor den Rippenbündchen, zieren. Das T-Shirt wird von oben nach unten in einem Stück gestrickt, zuerst in Reihen und nach Fertigstellung des Halsausschnittes komplett in der Runde. Der Halsausschnitt, die Schultern, Vorder- und Rückenteil sowie die Ärmel werden mit Zunahmen geformt, bis die Armlochtiefe erreicht ist. Dann werden die Ärmelmaschen stillgelegt und der untere Bereich des T-Shirts wird fertiggestellt. Rund um den Halsausschnitt werden Maschen für das in der Runde gestrickte, gerippte Halsbündchen aufgenommen. Zuletzt werden die kurzen Ärmel in der Runde gestrickt.

Please note for yardage: The Dara Tee is intended to be a short tee, but the lower body length is adjustable to your own preferences. If you prefer to lengthen the lower body (in the pattern 30 cm/12”) and/or the sleeves, then you will need more yarn.
