This gorgeous lightweight jacket/cardigan is flattering and has a lovely drape. The body and arms are knitted in once piece, (yes! One piece!), there are no seams to sew, it is ALL done on the machine! The garment features full or half length raglan sleeves, 4 godets give the skirt a wonderful flared shape whilst the wide neckband finishes the garment beautifully and is very flattering. Knitted in Yeoman Grigna (white) or Tussah Silk (Navy) it’s super light yet easy care! Any lightweight yarn could be used providing the tension is matched, it helps if the yarn steams flat so that there is just a little or no edge roll left so synthetics work really well! The instructions are written for standard gauge machines - we used a Brother 950i. No ribber is required. The instructions are written in 4 sizes (UK 8-10, 12-14, 16-18 and 20- 22).
