Introducing the Year of Socks! This is the first pattern in a collection of 12 sock patterns that will be released in collaboration with a Canadian indie yarn dyer. Each pattern and yarn colour way will be centered around a theme representing that month.

A new pattern will be released on the 2nd of every month and a KAL will be running on Instagram with the #yearofsockskal - Check out my Instagram for more information.

These lovely socks feature a simple cable pattern running down the front of the foot that resembles fir trees found looming in the woods in January. The socks are knit top down with a 1x1 twisted rib and feature a heel flap and gusset construction with a rounded toe.
