Darling Wrap is a simple and elegant ribbed wrap cardigan with waist ties designed to be worn over dresses or high-waisted jeans – a perfect wardrobe staple. It is worked from the bottom up in an allover ribbed pattern with 1 strand of Merino and 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout. Sleeves are worked in the round while the body is worked back and forth. The two waist ties are worked first. Afterwards, body and sleeves are worked and shaped separately before being joined at the underarms. Yoke is subsequently shaped with raglan decreases before an i-cord edge neatly finishes the edge along back neck and shoulders. The length of the ties and sleeves can easily be adjusted.

Darling Wrap is intended to be fitted and is therefore designed with negative ease. To choose the correct size, look at the ‘to fit chest circumference’ measurements on the previous page. If your actual chest circumference is, say, 98 cm 38½”, you should choose to knit a size M in order to achieve the intended fit.
