Dastardly Bastardly
by Dan Lee
A generously sized cowl/snood featuring stranded colourwork framed by twisted-stitch ribbing.
You will need approx. 285m of Yarn A and 115m of Yarn B.
The skull and crossbone design is created with stranded colourwork, together with duplicate stitching along two rounds (top and bottom).
Pattern includes written directions and charts for the colourwork.
You will need to know how to cast on and bind off, knit in the round, duplicate stitch and be comfortable managing long floats in your stranded colourwork.
Achieving gauge is not critical. I’m a tighter knitter, so if you’re a looser knitter, you may want to go down a needle size (or two).
Yarn kits are available from my website - BonaYarns.com, though you are free to substitute any other DK yarn.
