Dawning is a classic and versatile scarf with subtle texture.

It’s fully reversible, with a different look on each side and I-cord running seamlessly along the edges and around both tips.

You can work this elongated hexagon-like shape to any size you like. Make yours short and snug, or long enough to wrap twice, using every last inch of your yarn.

Dawning is the scarf you’ll wear on repeat, and the one you’ll want to knit again in every color.

YARN
Three skeins of Laines du Nord Dolly 125 (100% Merino; 125 m / 137 yds per 50 g). Shown in color 411.

Or approximately 375 m / 410 yds of similar DK-weight yarn.

NEEDLES
Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge

This narrow scarf is worked flat, so you can use either circular needles or long straight needles.
