Knitrino works like a magazine publishing curated pattern collections for a limited time, after which the rights revert to the designer. This pattern is no longer available in Knitrino.

Knitrino is a newly launched technology publishing interactive patterns. Knitrino is like Google Maps for knitting patterns: Click a stitch to see how to do it, highlight your current place, track your progress step by step, see charts in your yarn colors, see only your size, and more. Knitrino’s goal is to make knitting more accessible, and to help people grow into the knitters they aspire to be! This innovative app is for knitters longing for better pattern usability and navigation using small screens. It is available in both iOS and Android, download at:
Apple App Store
Play Store

About the pattern:
This oversized triangular shawl is worked from side to side, featuring interesting slipped stitch textures with a border of Herringbone Stitch that travels along the side edge until you reach the end with a statement border of beautiful Herringbone. In DK weight on oversized needles, it is a delightfully squishy knit that will lift your spirits like watching the sunrise. A fluid journey through evolving stitch patterns, the design transforms slightly at each section, complemented by changes in colors. It’s the perfect piece to drape around yourself on cool summer mornings.

About the yarn:
This pattern will be beautiful in any yarn, but it is SO good Kim’s inspiring colors that we’ve put a few kits together: one that’s vivid like summer grass and sky & one that’s soft-hued like the sky before the sunrise.

You can purchase the pattern or the pattern + kit directly in Knitrino. Kits are expected to ship around June 26th and we are starting a KAL on July 6th including a Zoom cast on party with designer Tif Neilan with a mini tutorial to get you going on Herringbone Stitch! To get the pattern you need to install Knitrino from the appropriate app store if you haven’t yet.
