Light lace socks inspired by hopeful daydreams of a warm summer with an easy lace rib pattern which quickly becomes memorised. The wrap and turn short row heel technique can be a little bit fiddly but it’s easy once you get going, and creates a neat heel.

Materials:
Eden Cottage Yarns Oakworth 4ply
(100% superwash Polwarth wool; 400m/436yds per 100g skein)
Shade: Bog Myrtle; 1 x 100g skein

Needles and accessories:
2.5mm (US 1.5) knitting needles suitable for working in the round - the pattern is written for double pointed needles
