Pattern description from book:
Beads create instant elegance and sparkle, and there are lots of ways to work them into your projects. I’ve chosen two different methods for you to try. Some beads are actually knit into the sock, but the majority are hand sewn on top. It’s easier this way to place them exactly where you want them, and because they are sitting on the outside of the sock, you won’t run the risk of having them irritate your skin. Finally, it’s easier to exchange a damaged bead by cutting the thread rather than having to use pliers to break the bead itself. Beware! Working with beads is addictive, and you may soon find yourself adding glitz to many other projects.
