The December Hat is the final crochet pattern in the 2016 Sunshine Charlotte Hat CAL. Its thickness makes it the perfect winter hat, and it works up quickly, so it’s the perfect pattern for your last minute stocking stuffers!

The band of this hat is worked in rows using the BLO technique to create a stretchy ribbing. From there, the hat is worked in rounds, and fpdc are used to create the textured ribs progressing up the hat. By working well-placed, hard-to-find decreases, you’ll get a hat that closes tightly at the top. Place a pom pom to finish it off, and you’re ready for the crisp winter air.

This pattern is available in Child and Adult sizes, so make one for every member of the family! If you like this pattern, check out the CAL here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sunshine-charlott...
